Government Approvals, Licences & Compliance
Industrial licences, registrations, clearances and statutory compliance — with liaison across Central, State and local authorities from application through to grant.
The problem
What goes wrong without this.
A manufacturing project in India requires approvals from a dozen or more separate authorities, and they are not independent of one another. Consent to establish precedes construction. Building plan approval depends on land use already being converted. Power sanction depends on load assessment that depends on final equipment selection. Consent to operate depends on the pollution control infrastructure being physically built and verified.
Applied for in the wrong order, the sequence deadlocks. Applied for late, they become the binding constraint on commissioning — a plant physically ready to run but legally unable to, with interest accruing on drawn-down term loans and no revenue.
The other failure is treating approval as a one-time event. Most industrial licences carry ongoing conditions, periodic returns and renewal cycles. Lapses surface during inspections, expansion applications or lender due diligence, often years later.

Our process
How the engagement runs
Stage-wise, with the deliverable and typical duration for each. Timelines vary with project scale and authority response — these are indicative rather than contractual.
- 1
Approval mapping
1–2 weeksEvery approval your project actually needs, mapped against the authority, the prerequisite documents, the realistic timeline and the dependency order. This is the deliverable that prevents deadlocks later.
Deliverable: Sequenced approval matrix with timeline
- 2
Documentation preparation
2–4 weeksApplication drafting and supporting document assembly to each authority's current requirements. Most rejections and queries are documentation defects rather than substantive objections.
Deliverable: Complete application dossiers
- 3
Filing and liaison
Authority-dependentSubmission, tracking, response to queries and objections, and follow-up with the relevant departments and district authorities through to decision.
Deliverable: Filed applications and query responses
- 4
Inspection support
As scheduledPreparation for and attendance at site inspections by pollution control, factory, fire and electrical inspectorates, including closure of observations raised.
Deliverable: Inspection closure and compliance confirmations
- 5
Grant and handover
1 weekApprovals obtained, conditions extracted into a compliance register, and a renewal and periodic return calendar handed to your team.
Deliverable: Approval set, compliance register and renewal calendar

Why NITS Corp
Why bring this to us
Sequenced, not listed
The value is in the order. An approval matrix that shows which application unlocks which is what keeps commissioning off the critical path.
Tracked against the construction programme
Where we also execute the project, approvals are scheduled activities in the build programme rather than a parallel process nobody owns.
Compliance handed over, not just approvals
You receive a register of every condition and a renewal calendar. Approvals lapse quietly, and they surface at the worst possible moments.
